How to cover up keratosis pilaris on your face.

If you have keratosis pilaris on your face like me, then its really hard at first not knowing how to hide it. I was really frusterated and people at school would point it out and I felt horrible about myself. I experimented and found a combination of make up that works for me, so hopefully it can work for other people.

Here is a before picture of me with no make up.

It actually looks worse in person, but the camera makes it look better for some reason.

First, I put Eucerin lotion on my face to soften the bumps, keep my skin from peeling, and help keep the make up on.

Then, I put a green mineral powder on. The green is oppisite of red, so it ends up not looking green, but skin colored. I think it works great. Any brand should do.

After that, I put on a liquid foundation with a make up sponge. I don't think it matters what brand you use, I always am using a different brand, depending on the prices. When you put the foundation on, make sure you blend it into your neck, to make sure you don't get the "mask" look.

After all that, I put on mineral powder, to lock in all the foundation. Sometimes I put on a bronzer too, and that makes you look tanner, and the redness even less noticeable.

And after all that, I think that it covers it up great. Now people comliment my skin and can't tell when I tell them i have keratosis pilaris.
